MOTOR AND INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN: A REVIEW

The aim of this narrative review article is to present the effects physical activity on motor and cognitive development children. Early childhood one most critical periods in a child's intellectual development. As much as seventy percent brain's connections develop during pre-school years, these form basis framework for later abilities characteristics. A physically stimulating varied environment undoubtedly has significant impact mental functions brain designed learn solve problems, initially simple, complex. earliest challenges that needs are related movement. Children problems spontaneously, intuitively, an unstructured manner. Later, with more organized movements, children acquire various skills, abilities, sensory experiences, thereby gaining new understanding themselves their surroundings. These insights experiences will equip child they face life. enter into social interactions group dynamics through movement sense autonomy independence. children's function and, thus, potential abilities.
